Please do not read this if you are in a hurry. If you are in a hurry to leave for work. If you are tired after a days hard work. If your mind is wandering beyond your control or if you are not in a mood to accept the fact that what you are today is due to the same common factor that we all sakorians should be proud of- OUR SCHOOL.
We have been entrusted with this responsibility of informing you that something we all cherished, loved and respected is on a death bed, old and dying. That same thing which, we boasted with our friends, our children, our colleagues has nothing to boast of now. If the Saikorian blood in you is still warm........ Just roll back your thoughts to the pride you felt among your family and friends when you were selected to the school, the first day you spent in school, think of the adventures, of the jokes we shared, the sweet smell of dew when we fall-in for PT, the harsh parade sun, the mangoes, groundnuts ...............and finally come back to yourself, what you have achieved in life. And all this - Is it possible if you are not a saikorian.
A Brief Background:
During the AGM at Vijayawada on the 16th and 17th August 2003, our Principal had made an appeal to all of us saikorians regarding the sorry state of affairs of our school infrastructure. We are sure that for those who have attended the AGM, would have felt not only sorry, but also ashamed that we let our school to deteriorate to the present state.
Everything around us ages, becomes old but it should age with dignity and added pride. It is our duty to see that our school is considered the best in this part of the country. It was when we were there.
During the AGM, it was decided to set up a Reconstruction Committee comprising of the members of Vizag chapter because of the proximity to school and interaction with the school is easier.
On 18th August 2003, Mr. Leela Prasad, the president of Vizag Chapter has constituted a team from the chapter comprising of the following:
We sincerely hope that all the saikorians will come together to form a strong team and help our school to regain the past glory so that it would turn out more responsible citizens, just like we are, who would feel the pride of being Saikorians.
